Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective October 20, 2026. How we handle consumer health data under Washington, Nevada and other US state laws.

Scope

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy describes how Stuvio Digital Private Limited ("Stuvio", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares "consumer health data" as defined by Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada Senate Bill 370 and similar US state laws. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which continues to apply.

Consumer health data we collect

  • Body measurements and characteristics you enter: height, weight, weight history, sex and age
  • Goals: target weight and weekly pace
  • Diet and nutrition: meals you log, photos of meals you scan, and their estimated calories, macronutrients and micronutrients
  • Physical activity: workouts you log and estimated calories burned
  • Questions you ask the coach that relate to your diet, weight or health
  • Data you choose to share from Apple Health: body weight
  • Information we derive from the above: daily calorie and macro targets, BMI, health scores and an estimated goal date

Sources

We collect consumer health data directly from you when you use the App, from Apple Health if you connect it, and by deriving estimates from the information you provide.

How we use it

We use consumer health data only to provide the features you request: calculating your targets, estimating nutrition from meal photos, logging and displaying your progress, answering coach questions and creating recipes. We also process limited data to keep the Services secure. We do not use consumer health data for advertising.

Most consumer health data is stored only on your device. Meal photos and coach or recipe requests are sent to our servers and AI providers only to produce the result you ask for, and are not stored by us afterward.

Sharing

We share consumer health data only with processors that handle it on our behalf to provide the Services:

  • Anthropic PBC, which processes meal photos and coach and recipe requests
  • Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts our servers and transmits those requests
  • Apple Inc., through HealthKit and on-device Apple Intelligence, when you use those features

We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their own purposes.

We collect and share consumer health data only with your consent and only as necessary to provide the Services you request. You consent when you enter information, scan a meal, ask the coach or connect Apple Health. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting the data in the App, disconnecting Apple Health, or deleting your account in Profile › Account › Delete account.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data
  • Access your consumer health data
  • Receive a list of all third parties and affiliates with whom we have shared your consumer health data, and their contact information
  • Withdraw your consent
  • Have your consumer health data deleted

To exercise these rights, email products@stuvio.co. We will respond within 45 days, which may be extended by another 45 days where reasonably necessary, and we will tell you if that happens. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

Appeals

If we decline to act on your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line "Appeal". We will respond in writing within 45 days, explaining any action taken and the reasons for our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Attorney General of Washington at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint or the Attorney General of your state.
