FAQ
Questions, answered.
How accurate are photo scans?
Pickyoka identifies each food in the photo, estimates portion sizes from visual cues such as the plate and utensils, and calculates nutrition from standard food composition data. Like any visual estimate, results can differ from weighed portions, so you can adjust the amount, calories or macros before you log a meal. For packaged foods, scanning the barcode gives exact label values.
Do I need to weigh my food?
No. Most people simply snap a photo. If you prefer precision, you can enter the exact weight and Pickyoka recalculates every nutrient for that amount.
What does Pickyoka Pro include?
Everything in the app: AI meal scanning, the barcode scanner and food database, your personalized plan, micronutrient tracking, progress and BMI analytics, workout logging, the AI nutrition coach, more than 300 recipes and Apple Health sync.

Yes. With your permission, Pickyoka saves meals, workouts and weight to Apple Health and reads your weight, so your data stays in sync. You can change these permissions at any time in the Health app.
